Art has been my passion since I remember myself. Today, I am an accomplished fine artist, providing mural painting, design, and illustration art services all around the world. My work is featured in public buildings, parks, museums, and private collections in the United States and in countries such as Greece, Moldova, Switzerland, Mexico, and Lithuania. I enjoy bringing my client’s ideas to life and assisting them in choosing the perfect form, language, and style to express their visions.  I offer large-scale murals, art installations, small-size canvases, and freehand decorative painting on surfaces, such as wood, metal, or concrete.

My Journey

When I look back on my journey, I realize that it has a fairytale-come-true quality to it. I was born in Moldova during the challenging Soviet period when Moldova was one of the USSR’s fifteen Republics. As a young girl, I loved making art: I would sit for hours and hours creating beautiful worlds with colored pencils.

My adult life has been devoted to art.  Looking back, I realize that my work speaks about life itself independent of language or culture. Because I am an inherently curious person, I was never afraid to dive into new media and styles. This allowed me to become a versatile artist using both abstract and realistic styles, working in many different media such as oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache, and textiles. Today, I bring all these experiences and aesthetic sensibilities to a body of work that comprises experimental textiles and various forms of public art, mainly large-scale mural art. This allows me to offer my clients a wide variety of themes, styles, and techniques.

I embraced mural art when I immigrated to the US. With time, I came to acquire knowledge and expertise in how to design for public spaces, drawing upon all my prior experience to design site-specific works for communities and businesses. As of today, I have completed over a dozen public art projects that act as social and emotional ‘heartstrings’, connecting the hearts of community members and visitors alike. I strive to have my mural designs, even when abstract, have a narrative and a dynamic quality, like a visual story that, I hope, would organically draw the viewer’s gaze across the mural elements.  My philosophy is that, with my art, I not only share knowledge and arts expertise, but also the beauty inside me, and in that, a conversation begins.

I have been active on the arts scene throughout South Florida with my experimental textiles, and as a public artist, I have been awarded multiple public art projects involving mostly large-scale murals, terrazzo floor, and fence designs, and many other types of public installations. My public art murals can be seen throughout South Florida. See some locations here: City of Lauderhill Chamber, Oakland Park Fire Rescue #87, Red Reef Park Boca Raton, City of Lauderhill East Curved Wall, Riviera Beach Street Mural, Singer Island, Downtown Hollywood Mural Projects SASA Café, Coral Springs Historic Bridge, Riviera Beach Community Garden, Art Deco Mural South Beach.

My experimental textile art installations have been on display in venues such as the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Brevard Museum, the Coral Springs Museum of Art, the Hollywood Arts and Culture Center, the Stuart Cultural Center, and The Projects at FAT Village.

Art has also led me on a parallel, rewarding path, that is, to help young people on their own creative journeys. I have been teaching art classes at Broward College in Davie, Florida, and have also taught at Palm Beach State College and Nova Southeastern University.
