This project is about celebrating and empowering communities through art. The Garden Boxes are located at the Toms River Field of Dreams, Ocean County, New Jersey, where community gardens have been built. The gardens are intended not only to enhance the aesthetics of the space but also to serve as educational tools, empowering people with knowledge about gardening and healthy living.
The Garden Digital Mural Designs are in the form of digital watercolor artworks. The designs were printed onto vinyl material and wrapped around
each garden box. This approach ensured that the murals were long-lasting and resistant to outdoor elements, allowing the community to enjoy them for years to come.

The community mural project initiative has received support from the Division of Disability Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services, through an
Inclusive Healthy Communities Grant. This funding demonstrates the recognition of the project’s significance in promoting inclusivity,
wellness, and community engagement. Notably, four of the large boxes feature logos representing specific organizations.
These logos symbolize the partnership and support from these organizations in making the project a reality.

the joy of gardening and fostering a sense of pride and ownership among residents.
Through the power of art, these garden murals will inspire and uplift visitors, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment
